Instructions

  1. To prepare/proof the yeast, warm the oat milk to temperature indicated on the yeast instructions and mix in the yeast with a tsp of sugar.
  2. In electric mixer or mixing bowl, mix all sugar, egg, and butter until fully blended.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine all the remaining dry ingredients together and mix.
  4. Pour the activated yeast milk mix into the mixer.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the mixer until everything is fully blended.
  6. Cover the dough mix and put aside for about 2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
  7. Crush the berries and cheese together.
  8. Once the dough has risen, pour a light layer of flour on top of it and knead on a flat working surface.
  9. Spread the crushed berry-cheese mix onto the flattened dough, and roll the dough back into a ball with the filling inside.
  10. Place into the bread loaf pan and allow to rise a 2nd time for ~1 hour.
  11. Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 30 minutes, or until the top of the loaf shows light browning.
  12. Remove from oven, let it cool, and enjoy!
